Within 30 days of solemnizing a marriage it is mandatory to complete a registration procedure. In case of court marriage both the parties must submit a joint application with required documents at the nearby registrar office. A notice period or waiting period will be allotted to the parties during which if any objection is raised by anyone then the application will be on hold until the issue is resolved by the registrar officer and the parties.
